- Co-steward with Giata (An Tir). To support ongoing development of the event and succession planning, in addition to a new class coordinator we also added a web lead and Zoom lead which was fantastic.
- July Investiture (Cynagua)- July 2022- Steward
- Event was at the Vet’s Hall in Paradise. Overall it went very smoothly, no real hiccups on the day of. Personal lessons learned in understanding what stewards are empowered to do prior to the event (ordering insurance directly, etc) and while there were no big issues with pre-event timelines (other than a delay with insurance), should I do it again I’ll be more comfortable.
- Thor Hyerdahl and a Day with the Bedouins (Danegeld Tor)- August 2022- Feastocrat
- Bedouin themed event stewarded by Rhys ap Baird held in a park. We had 57 attendees, with 50 dining. Feast used 13th C Egyptian and Syrian recipes, approximately 18 dishes. 4 kitchen staff. Food and service was well received. In future make sure to get better details on seating format.
- West Kingdom Colliegum (West)- November 2022- Class coordinator/ Website
- Act as deputy to the Chancellor, create and maintain event website and digital class submission form. Create class schedule, work with teachers before and during event to facilitate. Overall excellent event, ~40 classes offered. Notes: Classrooms available did not match contract, in future leave classroom numbing blank on print ups for more flexibility. Need to move signups for limited classes away from gate to dedicated table, a few folks missed them.
- Rivenoak Yule- December 2022- Feastocrat
- 90 tickets sold (~70 in attendance due to weather). Cook’s choice, so 15th century Italian menu. 2 kitchen staff, 4 additional volunteers for service. Food was well received, notes from parents that format and early roast meat with sauce on side worked well for picky eaters. Used disposable palm leaf plates and family style service- note to self, increase order estimate by 10% in future. Flexibility of freezing in ~10 serving chunks allowed for less food waste with weather related attendance drop. Spending was approx $7/head
- West Coast Culinary Symposium (West)- February 2023- Tech support
- Create and maintain event website. Manage registration and coordinate with PayPal team for billing. Create Google resources as needed for staff (drives, forms, etc).
- Known World Italian Salon IV-Virtual (West)- Aug 2023- Co-Steward
