Slavic inspired accessories
I was able to join the court and be an Artisan for the reign of Thorfinn and Tullia in Cynagua. They had a Rus costuming theme for their reign, which I of course had zero of. I went about creating some accessories for a “slav-ish” look by casing items in pewter inspired by extant finds. I made temple rings inspired by a set held in the Met collection. As well as lunula and coin like pendants. These were cast using modern methods.
Roman (toddler) fork
Okay, so the extant spoon/fork thing is super elegant, but my version is a little smaller and chunkier… so I think of it as a toddler fork. I’ve actually lost this somewhere, but luckily I’ve got a mould so I can make a new one at some point.

Phallic and vulvic charms for Helga
When Helga won coronet, as the result of an offhanded comment she made, I got it in my head that I needed to make her some roman inspired charms. During that year’s Italian Symposium mentioned this project and declared that I was open to receiving pre-16th Century dick pics. Oh boy, did our Roman personas deliver. I also went down a serious rabbit hole of reading peoples dissertations on the topic of “spicy” badges produced in later periods (I mostly use my academic access, but here’s an abstract that gives you an idea of the sort of things I was looking at). I also made two larger badges based 15th C Netherlandish finds, but apparently neglected to photograph them.
Pilgrim Badges
As part of my pilgrim garb project I created badges based on extant examples. The earlier ones were sand cast, and later I created high temp silicone moulds so I could make them in volume for largesse. Someday I want to actually carve moulds in soap stone, but right now using modern methods is where I’m at with this craft.
